Today's space video of the day is the test of the 22 million horsepower Ares 1 solid rocket motor at the ATK test facility in Promontory, Utah. Although this rocket may never actually fly, given the schedule overruns and technical problems and other myriad problems, it's still cool to watch a rocket motor firing for the first time.
